Presented with polished delight,
Unaware of the lurking side effects-
Refined with whispering, foxy illusions.
Billionaires, narcissists, power-hungry freaks
Feed us their biggest lies-sometimes
Wrapped in viral clicks,
Other times, hidden in treats.
Digital Dictatorships
It’s global, it’s all over-
Carnivals of control,
Strings tied to our eyes and ears.
No guns, nor tanks needed to take over-
Wars waged in keystrokes with curated bytes,
Traps set to deepen polarization,
Algorithms of wild opera, fueling the masses.
E-highways built on faulty grounds,
No fuel but fury, no honest rules.
More fights, more friction-
More collisions get them even greater profits.
Flashing slogans sinking into our bones,
Like hammers striking anvils,
They pound their message into our skulls-
Shaping how we should think,
Pressing what we must believe,
Branding us for their convenience,
Until we lose our cognitive reasoning minds.
Through the lens of objective history,
Their twisted, dogma-driven tricks never cease,
Raging like relentless waves.
Regardless of which way tornadoes may move,
We, the People, rise-
As we have done in the past,
We, the People, who fight for justice.
No wonder their highest praises
Come from
Deceived conspiracy theorists-
Those who've been caned by their own delusions,
Not from the halls of great sciences,
Where truth is cultivated to serve all of us,
Not to promote self-serving lunatics!
